In 2004, I lost my dad to lung cancer. Lung cancer also took my Aunt Paddy and Uncle Norm not long after, and my Aunt Sarah & Uncle Paul were taken by cancer as well. Too many friends have died and a few precious friends have survived. Every time, I wished there were "something I could do" to make a difference, to ease suffering, to prevent anyone else from having to know this heartbreak.

The awesome thing about Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™'s peer-to-peer fundraising platform is that money raised is used by the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation fund innovative cancer treatments like immuno-therapy, proton therapy and other treatments that fight the cancer, while doing as little harm as possible to the patient. That gives me hope!
